The PADI Dive Master course is the first level of training in becoming a Professional in the recreational diving community.
Prerequisites for course:
1. Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or have qualifying
certification from another training organization.
2. Be PADI Rescue Certified or show a Certification from another training agency.
3. Have completed and logged at least 20 dives as documented by the individual’s personal log book.
4. Be at least 18 years old at the start of PADI Divemaster training.
5. Submit, to the instructor, medical clearance for diving signed by a physician, attesting to fitness to dive. The medical clearance must be current within the previous 12 months. The physician signing the form cannot be the individual.
6. Submit proof of Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) training (or other
qualifying CPR/first aid training) within the last 24 months.

Water Stamina Evaluation:
1. 400 Meter swim
2. 15 minute tread
3. 800 Meter Snorkel, mask, fins swim
4. 100 Meter tired diver tow
5. Diver Rescue evaluation
For Certification you will:
1. Be able to perform the 20 Open Water skills to a demonstration level.
2. Map Dive site and Develop an Emergency plan for it
3. Perform full gear exchange with another while buddy breathing.
4. Show proficiency at Divemaster lead program
5. Participate in Open water confined and certification classes (Internship)
