Rescue Diver:
Course Overview:
The PADI Rescue Diver course is a pivotal step in expanding your knowledge and experience. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves to consider the safety and well-being of other divers.
Prerequisites for course:
1. Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or have qualifying
   certification from another training organization.

2. Be at least 12 years old.

3. The student diver must successfully complete a sanctioned course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR-Primary
   Care) and basic first aid (Secondary Care) within the past two years (24 months).

*The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses are highly
recommended and can be used to meet these requirements.
What the course will cover:
1. Increase awareness of diver safety.

2. Develop divers’ abilities to anticipate and prevent problems as well as to manage them.

3. Teach effective rescue techniques and first aid skills specific to diving.

4. Prepare divers to manage diver emergency situations.

Dives Required:
One day pool and one day in the Open Water
